I had seen a compilation of different psychologists giving their expert opinion on how much they think the conscious controls or is aware of in the brain. All of them had a blank page and were asked to fill in the amount of the page they think is conscious control. All of them filled in a very small area. Were as I agree I think it left the conscious side short. It might not be able to see the whole picture like the sub-conscious, but the conscious can go to almost any part of the mind in a focused view (clearly recalling a memory). One working with the other to create a complete and focused image in mind. Anyway just thought it was interesting

I remembered just now that all of the psychologists used a different shape and area on the page to describe the amount used by conscious control. I also think the focus of conscious awareness can depend on the person, like being able to multitask it can depend.
