So how about that "Higgs boson" thing that is making the rounds of the news these days? I haven't read much on it (yet), but I will...does anyone else find it completely ironic that they had to build a HUGE, incredibly GINORMOUS facility (CERN) in order to study incredibly SMALL things like "particles"?
But, what a LAFF about this "God" particle thing; I ask you: now that they appear to have FOUND it, are these scientists (who originally came up with the term) all going to start believing in "God"? Fat chance of that, I say! All they will do is invent something ELSE they have to discover first before they can "believe"!
As i see it, someone who can be faced with the incredible marvels that make up existence from the Milky Way on down to the "God particle" and still persist in believing it's all a random bunch of coincidences that everything just "fell into place" and "chaos" gave way to "cosmos" all by "accident", well, there really is no hope for such people; it's all "pearls before swine" and however "intelligent" they may be, they are ultimately nothing more than 'food for the moon".
