This was, of course, a very interesting and rare phenomenon- the American Solar Eclipse, as it has been dubbed. As I interpret, it does not bode well, at all- I mean, evaluated as portent- particularly, in reference to weather extremes, such as extreme heat and cold; tornados, hurricanes, natural afflictions generally! However, I don't think the portent applies to any long aeon beginning from now, but this current little epoch, rather. If it had not appeared at a Black Moon, I believe it's much less likely negative portent would be associated with it- a "Black Moon" is a New Moon, the third of four falling in one of the Four Seasons... It is rare for there to be four New Moons in a single Quarter of the year! They've got that perfectly correct, calculating directly from the Solstices and Equinoxes- another, perhaps less traditional definition of Black Moon is when there are two New Moons, falling within a single month- Blue Moon refers to such Full Moons. As regards the standard method of determining such, based on the Gregorian Calendar, my advice is don't use that calendar- it is a sham; baneful; for such calculations and generally, don't use that calendar. That calendar can drive people crazy, for one thing! Quite possibly, you've been personally damaged by it! One reason for this instituted contrivance, which is a burden to all of us, is I think the sophisticated, or Sophisticate idea of not having any Nameless, or sacred days, at the end of each Year...
