Now we have a religious group, who call themselves Wiccans- they do these witchcraft rituals, generally White Magic, and don't keep it secret- in fact, they will usually write "Wiccan" on a job application or paperwork, on the blank which inquires about one's religion... There is no religion, Wicca. Wicca, or Wiccae-Craft is a practice, which has been termed witchcraft. They are usually using ideas and deities from Pagan religions, true... What this means is that the whole movement, started by Gardner, I think, is basically erroneous! Today it is not Law which makes witchcraft illegal- however, correct Principle defines witchcraft as a secret works; not a religion, but an attempt to invoke supernatural energies. They are unwise, as their rituals cannot have much or any power, as they do not keep it secret- often, it's all just for show; roguery, even to be social agitators... I saw this show where the paranormal investigator invited a "Real Witch and a real Warlock" to perform their operations, on camera, in a place which seemed to have an unusual connection with the Spirit World. They had all the trappings, and mumbo jumbo- but, again, the definition of Wicca disqualifies them, as regards legitimacy. I believe, in fact, they have no Power at all, and just get a kick out of this whole business- just as Goth is a popular fad among many...
