This posting, "Gender Through Different Lifetimes" brings to my mind some of the Edgar Cayce teachings on Atlantis, supplemented in my own cognizance by Atlantis, Frank Alper... It seems to me you're probably acquainted with this sort of information- it was a technological accident, basically, which caused the destruction of Atlantis- but as you are implying, there were things that weakened the civilization, among them the experiments of the mad scientists, as they could be called! Strange, bizarre creatures were created through these experiments- they actually come up in some of the ancient mythologies- one should differentiate between these and mythological divine creatures such as the Phoenix, or Firebird; Imdugud (Sumerian) perhaps some others; these don't stem from those atlanteian experiments. I agree that operations which "alter gender"- and in legal documentation- which are irreversible are also a kind of mad scientist experiment, weakening the civilization against natural afflictions and destruction. Atlantis, as I understand, was a central civilization of the Second, or Silver Age (roughly the Stone Age as scientists call it)- a chief point of origin of the Red Race. This is the Fourth, or Iron Age, the least rectitudinous, called the Age Of Kali in the East. The first, or Golden Age, is called The Satya Yuga there, which word means Truth or Truthfulness- they say such are the most Dharma; the Fourth the most Adharma.

I understand mixing creatures or changing gender, some creatures described in Thoth sound amazing to bear witness. The other two threads were also talking of the key being held by a male. Im not sure this is true, other than that its easier for males to do so in todays society.
My cases in point: -Multiple queens of England of great success -Mother Teresa helped globally -Mary Magdalene -Sacajawea leading Lewis and Clark to the west (while pregnant mind you) etc... Aside from these there is even cases of matriarchal societies in animals like Elephants and Monkeys.
My question I guess is does gender, race, or even genetics have anything to do with the spark/key? Or is it something in the soul?
