Dream occured 2-16-11, recorded on 2-17-11
As usual I remember nothing from the dream prior to this point, but the final second of it was left bright and clear in my mind like a photograph. I was standing in a rocky arrid vastness, it was dismall and the rocks were black reflecting a white light.
The black round rocks were all the same size and everywhere. They also seemed like they were wet even though I knew they were dry, I didnt feel hot or cold but I felt it was realy dry. I was on a ridge of these overlooking a somewhat grassy and rocky dry vastness, and I was heading towards what appeared to be a kind of survivalist city.
My focus however was directly pointed at the sign infront of me. It was a yellow caution sign, done like any other with the black trim outline and blocky letters. It was harder then I thought to do the outline on the sign, but this is what I saw as good as I can get.
I had heard this word, I later deduced with my wife from a video game. It was a temple named Cazic-Thule. I had never looked up or heard its use before from its origin. I was ofcourse more then curious, and this is what I found.
Thule (pronounced /ˈθuːliː/ or ˈθjuːli;[1][2][3] from Greek Θούλη, Thoulē), also spelled Thula, Thila, or Thyïlea, is, in classical European literature and maps, a region in the far north. Though often considered to be an island in antiquity, modern interpretations of what was meant by Thule often identify it as Norway.[2][4] Other interpretations include the Orkney Islands, Shetland Islands, and Scandinavia. In the Late Middle Ages and Renaissance, Thule was often identified as Iceland or Greenland. Another suggested location is Saaremaa in the Baltic Sea.[5]
Even more interesting it adds...
The term ultima Thule in medieval geographies denotes any distant place located beyond the "borders of the known world". Sometimes it is used as a proper noun (Ultima Thule) as the Latin name for Greenland when Thule is used for Iceland.
